MONTEREY, CA, September 11, 2009 — The Protector Network, the safety and security member-benefits platform enjoyed exclusively by CIG clients, has been honored with a 2009 New Media Awards (NMA) selection. One of six Websites to be recognized overall, The Protector Network is also the only such Web site picked this year from the insurance industry.

The Protector Network was cited for its unique contribution in the use of technology and content to serve CIG insurance clients by delivering safety, security and savings benefits not available from other insurers.
