Paid Time Off Programs - Vacation, Holidays, Floating Holidays & Sick Leave

Vacation
Employees accrue paid vacation time annually based on their employment anniversary. Note: Vacation may be used as accrued with management approval.

Holidays
The Company recognizes ten (10) paid holidays during the year for full-time and part-time employees based on their normal hours of work. Employees are eligible for paid holiday time starting on their date of hire.

Floating Holidays
Capital Insurance Group awards Floating Holidays during the year for full-time and part-time employees based upon their regular hours of work. New hires become eligible for Floating Holidays after completing the first 90 days of employment.

Sick Leave
CIG offers paid sick leave for employee illness and non-occupational injuries. Employees accumulate paid sick leave based upon their employment classification and length of service with the Company. Employees may accumulate sick leave up to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days.

 

Eligibility: New Hires become eligible on the first of the month after 90 calendar days of employment. Enrollment changes subject to Qualifying Events and Open Enrollment Periods.
