Golfers who invest a lot of effort, time and money into their game know the value of their clubs and accessories. That’s why CIG Golf Equipment Coverage is so important to them. If your equipment is lost, stolen or damaged, we can get you back on the course quickly. Available only to CIG Homeowner’s Insurance clients (including renters and condo owners), our coverage provides exceptional protection for your golf equipment at home, on the course or on vacation.

Coverage Details

• Choice of the specific amount of coverage to meet your needs
• “All Risk” coverage – All losses are covered except those that are specifically excluded*
• Cost-saving deductible options from $100, $250 or $500 (for both golf equipment and golf carts**)
• Worldwide coverage protection on land, at sea or in the air
• Errant Shot protection in the event of injury, or property damage such as a broken window
• Liability coverage for golf carts owned by an insured and operated on a golf course or a private residential community where the golf carts can legally travel***
• Liability coverage if your sports activity results in you being legally responsible for injuries to a spectator, participant or other party, or for damage to another person’s property

* Exclusions include loss or damage caused by rust or corrosion, rodents or domestic animals owned by the insured, wear and tear or mechanical breakdown, war, nuclear disaster or flood. ** Separate deductibles apply in all states. *** Also includes coverage while crossing a public road to get to and from the golf course.
