Reporting an Auto Accident

If you are involved in an auto accident:

  • Obtain the name and address of each driver, passenger and witness.
  • Obtain the name of the insurance company and policy number for each vehicle involved.
  • Do not make a statement regarding the accident except to local authorities or our company representative.
  • Be sure to write down the license plate number of the other vehicle(s) involved. Accurately jotting down the vehicle license number and providing it to your claims adjuster can assist us in handling various aspects of your claim, including possible subrogation recovery of your deductible if the other party is found to have been at fault.
